We played around with a few ingredients, and thanks to the mixology skills of Papa Swift, we came up with the most refreshing drink for your Fourth of July festivities!
1/2 tsp of Grenadine
1 oz of Vodka
1/4 cup of Sprite
Handful of blueberries
Half a strawberry
To begin, pour about 1/2 tsp of Grenadine syrup into your glass. If using a champagne flute like ours, cut a strawberry in half to keep the Grenadine from rising to the top. Next, add your ice. The more the ice, the better the cocktail.
Gently pour in 1 ounce of Sky Vodka and then slowly fill the remainder of the glass with Sprite. To complete the red, white & blue look, place a handful of blueberries on the top. Throw in your favorite cocktail stirrer (we found adorable ones at Pier One) and there you have it folks, the easiest all American cocktail.
If you want to add some extra detail, place white pop rocks on the rim of the glass! Fireworks sure will be "popping" when guest taste this treat! So who's going to whip this up for this coming Fourth of July? Let us know what you think. Enjoy darlings!
